A heart for Mercedes-Benz.

For strong societal cohesion

Regional engagement.

As a global company, we promote initiatives based on our CSR strategy that benefit the environment and society. This commitment is particularly important to us where our employees live and work. Therefore, we especially want to support projects at our locations that promote societal cohesion through improved living conditions.

Our commitment in the Stuttgart region.

The Stuttgart region has always enjoyed a particular significance as our company's headquarters. For this reason, we have been strengthening our social commitment by supporting initiatives in the social, environmental, and cultural sectors, with €24 million committed for the period from 2023 to 2029.

Mittendrin – Chancen für morgen gestalten (At the Heart of It– Shaping Opportunities for Tomorrow): This participation process aims to strengthen societal cohesion and sustainably improve people's opportunities for participation in Stuttgart's urban society. With the environmental project Klima Chance Moore (Climate Opportunity Moors) Mercedes-Benz supports the rewetting and renaturation of moors in the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried nature reserve. With the Kulturkessel (the Culture Cauldron) we are focusing on young people in Stuttgart through collaboration between the independent scene and established cultural institutions to strengthen cultural diversity in the state capital.

More than just a home: MBUSI employees help build homes for people in need.

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI) , a significant employer in Alabama's manufacturing sector, has been committed to local communities for many years, including through collaboration with Habitat for Humanity.

As part of this cooperation, MBUSI employees are actively participating and assisting in building houses for people who have gotten into difficulties due to accidents or natural disasters. Each year, employees participate in construction projects for six weeks, applying the same care and precision they bring to vehicle production. However, their commitment is not just about building houses, but also about helping to provide families with a home – and thereby stability, prospects, and new opportunities. With MBUSI's support, 15 construction projects have been successfully completed to date.

Green School Transformation: Mercedes-Benz India supports learning spaces for girls in Maharashtra State

The Green School Transformation project by Mercedes-Benz India  is furthering girls' schools in Maharashtra by promoting better educational conditions, modern technology in teaching, and more sustainable infrastructure, such as solar energy and rainwater harvesting. In collaboration with the non-profit organization Yuva Unstoppable, the program has successfully transformed 50 all-girls schools since 2023, benefiting more than 37,000 female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds until March 2026.

The initiative is based on three main pillars: enhanced water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure; 'Smart Classrooms' for digital learning enablement; and sustainability initiatives, including 10 KW hybrid solar power systems and rainwater harvesting systems. Through digital learning opportunities, modern school environments, and promotion of environmental awareness, the project is sustainably improving learning conditions.

At the same time, safe and inspiring learning spaces are being created to empower girls in their education, well-being, and future opportunities.
