Inclusion.

Employees with disabilities

Different together.

Employees with disabilities are an important part of diverse teams at Mercedes-Benz. The employment of people with disabilities has been firmly based on an inclusion agreement since 2002.

The aim is to ensure the participation of employees with severe disabilities in working life. We encourage and support the integration of employees with disabilities in production and administration so that they can make the best possible use of their skills. This takes place depending on the type of impairment, for example with ergonomically and individually adjustable workplaces or special lifting tools in order to assist with heavy loads. In addition, we focus on digital accessibility and provide tools and training throughout the company.

By joining various initiatives, we support and promote an inclusive work environment as well as social inclusion.

The Valuable 500  is a worldwide initiative that brings the inclusion of people with disabilities to companies agendas. Mercedes-Benz is one of 500 companies that take part in the initiative and thus enter into concrete commitments. With our inclusion agreement, we create and maintain jobs for employees with severe disabilities and ensure their participation in the workforce.
