Mercedes-Benz HPC North America LLC (Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging), based in Manhattan, New York is responsible for building and operating the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network in the United States and Canada.

Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging will invest about USD 1 billion to build over 2,500 DC fast charging stalls to accelerate the transition toward electric mobility. Together with forward-thinking partners like Starbucks, Buc-ee's and Simon Properties, we’re increasing open access to reliable charging infrastructure for drivers of all EVs.

Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging is a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG and MN8 Energy LLC. The partnership aims to maximize access to green charging[2]Renewable Charging is an integral part of MB.CHARGE Public in Europe, the USA, Canada and China. If electricity from renewable energies is not yet available at the respective charging station, Renewable Charging uses Energy Attribute Certificates*. These ensure that an equivalent amount of electricity from renewable energies is fed into the power grid for charging processes via MB.CHARGE Public. They are from wind and solar power plants which are less than six years old.
