beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship.

Mercedes-Benz funds the global support program beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship with donations. This fellowship program for young environmental innovators supports fellows through structured training, individual mentoring by experts, and direct financial support for the implementation of concrete projects. The projects focus on seven key impact zones, such as clean energy and energy access, alternative materials, waste and circularity, sustainable transport, and mobility.

In 2022, Mercedes-Benz achieved a record price of €135 million through auctioning the 1955 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé. The proceeds from the most expensive automobile in history formed the seed capital for the beVisioneers fellowship program.

DO School Fellowships gGmbH, a non-profit organization, develops and implements the program, which supports creative and committed 16- to 28-year-olds with their innovative ideas for environmental and sustainability projects. The participants are selected by DO School gGmbH and come from various countries and backgrounds.

The fellows complete a twelve-month hybrid learning and support phase with secured project funding, coaching, and an intensive program focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. They are accompanied by mentors from all over the world, including Mercedes-Benz employees in their free time.

Each year, beVisioneers  accepts new environmental innovators.

Unique mentoring program for the Mercedes-Benz team.

Mercedes-Benz employees have the possibility to strengthen their mentoring skills through the specially developed Impact Mentor Training, They gain new perspectives for their professional environment and also qualify to accompany young talents, such as the beVisioneers fellows, on their journey. This personal development not only fosters individual competencies but also deepens the company-wide understanding of Mercedes-Benz's sustainable transformation, which is characterized by pioneering spirit, resilience, and a sense of responsibility.
