Mercedes-Benz is committed to the transformation towards electromobility and supports the Paris Climate Agreement with the goal of achieving a net carbon-neutral
The expansion of charging infrastructure, particularly fast-charging stations, the deployment of electric vehicles in fleets, and the use of green electricity are central measures. Plug-in hybrids play a crucial role during the transition period, as they enable high electric driving shares and already contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions today. For more environmentally friendly mobility, appropriate framework conditions have to be set by policymakers. Electromobility must be attractive to users.
As an internationally active company, equal opportunities, diversity, openness and respect are some of the fundamental convictions of Mercedes-Benz. We show this in the way in which we think, act and communicate. Wherever possible and appropriate, we use gender-neutral language. In principle, all the terms selected of course include all genders and identities.
