You want to work in an international environment? Then Mercedes-Benz is the right place for you. Take advantage of this and discover the world with us. Whether short term or long term, in Europe or on another continent: you decide.

Working at the Mercedes-Benz Group means you have all the advantages of belonging to an international company. A global assignment is an enriching experience, professionally and personally. The possibilities are almost endless: various lengths of stay, various countries, and various business areas.

But one thing is certain: you'll never be left to cope on your own. We'll be by your side with internationally standardized procedures and guidelines, all directed by head office. We'll help you prepare for your assignment and support you and your family in your new country – by helping you find somewhere to live, for example, or schools for your children.

And at the end of your assignment, we'll help you resettle back into your former role and location. But if you'd prefer to stay in your home country, the roles on offer there will be no less exciting.

International assignments with us are as diverse as our employees themselves: help build up a production plant, be involved as we develop our world-wide markets, or become part of our global sales organization. Expat-assignments, which we call “Global Assignments”, are interesting for people that are open to other countries and cultures. Ideally you will already be skilled in the local language or are prepared to become so. In addition, good English language skills are helpful.

Our employees with international assignments, the “Global Assignees,” know one thing for sure: they can count on us. We help them prepare for their assignments and support them and their families at their new location; for example, with finding accommodations and schools, as well as language courses and intercultural training.

Internationality is also important at our German locations: through points of global intersection, international teams, and work processes that are interconnected worldwide. Even if you cannot imagine to go abroad for a few years at the moment, you can still check out "the world" with us.

The Mercedes-Benz Group offers entrance programs with an international focus–like intercultural trainings or world-wide assignments right at the beginning of your professional career. Whether it is within the framework of a vocational training, a dual studies education, our international trainee program, or through an international internship.

An international assignment with a local employment agreement is also possible and has the advantage of not being bound by a limited contract.
