MB.CHARGE Public offers three charging tariffs that are tailored to the individual mileage. Before charging, the exact prices per kilowatt-hour or minute, as well as the estimated costs to reach the maximum charge level for fully electric vehicles, are displayed. Each charging process is automatically billed through MB.CHARGE Public. This makes charging with MB.CHARGE Public even easier and more transparent.

• Access to one of the largest public charging networks globally: More than 3 million charging points from over 1,500 charge point operators are integrated worldwide.
• Intelligent route planning: Navigation with Electric Intelligence calculates a time-efficient route including charging stops or guides the driver to the nearest charging point in the vicinity and at the destination.
• Easy authentication: Authentication at the charging station is always carried out in the same user-friendly and familiar way via the Mercedes-Benz App, the RFID charging card, or directly via Plug & Charge¹ with cooperating charge point operators.
• Transparent costs: Before charging, the exact prices per kilowatt-hour or minute, as well as the estimated costs to reach the maximum charge level for fully electric vehicles, are displayed.
• Renewable energy²: In Europe, the US, Canada and China Mercedes-Benz ensures that an equivalent amount of electricity from renewable energy sources is fed into the power grid for charging processes, if no electricity from renewable energy sources is provided.

¹ With Plug & Charge, the charging process starts as soon as the charging cable is plugged in. The vehicle transmits the contract data directly to the charging station. A prerequisite is an MB.CHARGE Public charging contract, which is used for billing.

² For every green electricity supply contract or Energy Attribute Certificate, Mercedes‑Benz applies a high standard for renewable energy. For example, Energy Attribute Certificates are sourced exclusively from wind and solar power plants that are younger than six years and carry the EKOenergy label.
