Our foundation work.

Through our CSR commitment we aim to make a positive contribution to society, and we also do this through our foundation work. This commitment is an integral part of our corporate philosophy and reflects our core values, such as integrity, responsibility, and sustainable action.

Mercedes-Benz Fund: Shaping the future with science and research.

The Mercedes-Benz Fund , a non-profit foundation within the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany, has been committed to promoting science and research as well as young scientific and technical talent since its inception. The goal is to strengthen Germany's future viability, innovative capacity, and competitiveness. This is achieved through the targeted promotion of future competencies and scientific exploration of societal challenges.

The Mercedes-Benz Fund focuses on two main areas: acquiring competencies and shaping the future. It also endows professorships and supports the German Future Prize, which recognizes outstanding innovations in technology, engineering, and the natural sciences.

Daimler and Benz Foundation: Building bridges for the future.

The non-profit Daimler and Benz Foundation  promotes future-oriented science and research with the aim of better understanding the complex interrelationships between humans, the environment, and technology. A key concern is to utilize scientific findings for societal issues.

To strengthen dialogue the Foundation brings together interested members of the public and scientists from various disciplines, thus fostering well-founded exchanges. A special focus is on supporting the next generation of scientists through scholarships for postdocs that enhance their autonomy and scientific creativity. The Foundation also awards the annual Bertha-Benz Prize to an outstanding young female engineer.

Furthermore, the funding programs address central societal challenges and tackle them from a scientifically sound perspective.

Deutschlandstiftung Integration (Germany Integration Foundation)

The Germany Integration Foundation  (page only available in German), a nationwide non-profit organization under the patronage of the Federal Chancellor, advocates equal opportunities and equal participation for people with a migration background.

With its GEH DEINEN WEG (Go Your Way) scholarship and mentoring program, the Foundation supports young talents on their educational and career paths and strengthens their future prospects. In doing so, it makes a relevant contribution to diversity, talent development, and social cohesion.

Mercedes-Benz supports the Germany Integration Foundation in the Go Your Way program as a strategic partner through mentoring, workshops, and active involvement in the Foundation's board of trustees and advisory board.
