Mercedes-Benz plant Ludwigsfelde.

Facts and figures

Mercedes-Benz plant Ludwigsfelde.

Mercedes-Benz Vans has been successfully building vehicles in Ludwigsfelde for more than 35 years.

The plant in Ludwigsfelde produces the cab-chassis variants of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and eSprinter. Since October 2026, the new Marco Polo has also been produced here. For the first time, the camper van is thus being produced entirely within the Mercedes-Benz production network. In addition, the plant plays a leading role within the network in innovative production systems.

The Ludwigsfelde plant is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation. As part of this process, the so-called launch factory for the new Mercedes-Benz Van Architecture has been established at the site.
