Hamburg plant.

Facts and figures

Mercedes-Benz Plant Hamburg.

The Mercedes-Benz Hamburg plant has been part of the global Mercedes-Benz production network since 1978. Its product portfolio includes a wide range of components for all vehicle series. These include axles and axle components, drive modules, steering columns, pedal systems, cockpit cross members, press shop components, exhaust manifolds, and integrated starter-generators.

In recent years, the plant has significantly expanded its production of electric axles and further developed them for new platforms such as the Mercedes-Benz Electric Architecture (MB.EA).

As an international supplier, the Hamburg plant delivers more than 14 million products annually to customers around the world. It maintains a particularly close relationship with the Bremen assembly plant, located approximately 100 kilometers away, which is supplied by the Hamburg plant with both conventional and electric axles on a demand-driven basis.
