The selection process
What steps are included in the selection process?
1. Let's go!
The application documents have been received. The selection process is starting.
You need to schedule about ten minutes for the online application. If you have any questions, please have a look at the FAQs or use our chat function in the bottom right-hand section.
2. Now it's time to check!
The documents will be checked. We will try to give you feedback as soon as possible.
Due to the high number of applicants and changing requirements, the commitments can sometimes only be sent shortly before the assignment planned by the department (in some cases only one week before the planned assignment). Please note that we are not always able to consider your desired starting period. This can occur especially with long availability periods.
We ask you for your patience. In any case, you will receive a response by email. Please also check your spam folder.
3. Submit any missing information
While checking your application, we noticed that we still need additional documents or information. You will receive an e-mail with a link showing your tasks or you can also view them directly in the "My tasks" section.
After providing us with the requested documents and information, your application will be reviewed again.
4. You meet the requirements
You have submitted all the documents and you meet the criteria. Now your scheduling can be checked.
Acceptances or rejections can be sent at relatively short notice. A confirmation may also be sent later within your availability period. Please be patient. We will get back to you.
5. We can make you an offer - onboarding
We can offer you an employment opportunity. You will receive an email (shortly) with your employment details and a link for you to confirm the offer and provide us with further information.
Please be sure to confirm the offer and submit the onboarding within the deadline. For more information, please refer to the FAQ attached to the confirmation email.
6. Welcome!
Your recruitment was successful. You will receive your contract documents, further information about your first working day and the "Onboarding Salary" by e-mail before you start your holiday job.
Onboarding salary:
Approximately two weeks before the start of your holiday job, you will receive an additional e-mail with your tasks „Entgelt Onboarding“. In this onboarding, you will provide us all information relevant to your salary, e.g. tax ID, health insurance membership certificate or national social security number. Please make sure that you have these data and certificates. Since some certificates take time to obtain from the respective authorities, we advise you to apply for them promptly.
