Star Transmission is a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG and an important pillar of the global powertrain production network at Mercedes-Benz Cars.
The plant manufactures various components for engines, transmissions and steering systems, also housing a Technology Center e.g. for prototype production.
With the support of the Romanian government, Star Transmission became one of the first Romanian companies to offer a dual education system.
