They lend their voice to their story and show how diverse Mercedes-Benz is. Personal experiences from the everyday lives of individuals become an impulse and food for thought for many.

Alexandra Strassburger: Authentic and empathetic leadership

Alexandra Strassburger has held many leadership positions in the company: she has worked in Research & Development, Sales and has also spent many years working for Mercedes-Benz in China. One thing was always close to her heart, regardless of the exact focus of her position: not to bend over backwards or engage in “industry acting”, as she calls it. Alexandra Strassburger is convinced that authenticity is the only way to stay mentally healthy in the long term and to perform at your best. She explains how she manages to remain authentic and at the same time lead with empathy - in other words, how she responds to the needs and feelings of her colleagues - using six objects that she has brought with her.

Deniz Cevher: How can artificial intelligence help us in our everyday work?

Deniz Cevher originally studied social work. He now works as an AI engineer at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation. He tells us how he became fascinated with the topic of AI, what parallels there are with his former job in family assistance and why he thinks ChatGPT is as revolutionary as the first iPhone was back in the day. But he also knows that, just like with all technical revolutions, there is a great need for information and communication here. People must be aware of the opportunities and risks so that the new technology serves the people and not the other way around.

Lucas Weber: From Stuttgart to Ouagadougou

Lucas Weber is Market Manager at Mercedes-Benz Mobility. Like so many people, Lucas is involved in voluntary work alongside his actual job. For more than a decade, he has been helping children in Burkina Faso to get them the medical help they urgently need. At Voices, he tells how it all started in 2010 with two girlfriends, a flight to Ouagadougou and a suitcase full of football jerseys.

Farha Savas: being frank - no matter where someone comes from

Like almost 23 million people living in Germany, Farha Savas has an immigrant background. She grew up in different cultures and co-founded an employee network at Mercedes-Benz. Farha says it's important to be open to other people. At Voices, she talks about how she thinks about migration and integration and what contribution you can make to a good coexistence of different cultures.
