Accumotive GmbH & Co. KG, Kamenz.

Accumotive GmbH & Co. KG in Kamenz, Saxony, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG. The site has been producing battery systems for hybrids and electric vehicles since 2012.

Since the start of production, more than two million batteries for different vehicle models have been assembled at the site. Since 2025, Kamenz has been supplying the Rastatt plant, where the electric CLA rolls off the production line, with the latest generation of batteries. From 2026, Accumotive will also expand its production portfolio to include the reprocessing of used batteries, which serve as spare parts.
