Mercedes-Benz Plant Düsseldorf.

The Mercedes-Benz Düsseldorf Plant is the largest plant of Mercedes-Benz Vans. It was founded in 1962 and plays a principal role in the global production network of Mercedes-Benz Vans.

On a production area of about 325,000 square meters, more than 5,500 employees produce the panel van model variants of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and eSprinter. The plant is one of the largest industrial employers and companies offering vocational training in the region. The 666,666th vehicle in the history of the plant left the production line in 2023. Since December 2019, the eSprinter is being produced in Düsseldorf. In December of 2023, the plant started producing the new generation of the eSprinter.
