Sindelfingen. Supervisory Board of Mercedes-Benz Group AG – Employee Representative. Member of the Works Council at the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen Plant (RD).

Monika Tielsch was born in 1967 in Sindelfingen. After obtaining her intermediate school leaving certificate, she completed training as medical assistant.

In 1987 she joined Daimler AG in the area of spare parts management in Sindelfingen. After moving to the area of technical handover in the Customer Center and various continuing education programs, Monika Tielsch was elected to the Works Council for the first time in 1998.

Since that time, she had supported employees in the area of Research & Development, product strategy and parts of MB.OS in Sindelfingen. In addition, since 2012 she has also been active as Chairwoman of the Coordination Committee for Research & Development and completed an extra-occupational study program as “a manager in socioeconomics” at the University of Hamburg in 2017.

The trained mediator is also a member of the Works Committee and the Human Resources Committee at the Sindelfingen location, as well as Diversity Officer of the General Works Council of Mercedes-Benz AG.

Monika Tielsch performs various honorary duties, including serving as an honorary judge at the Higher Social Court in Stuttgart.
