Here you can find all the important information about a dual study programme at Mercedes-Benz.

Our three-year Bachelor's degree programme is split into six semesters, each of which comprises three months of theory and three months of work experience. The course is highly practical because you get to know different areas of the company first-hand. You'll even have the opportunity to go abroad.

The theory part of the course will be taught in Germany, mainly at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. Lectures take place in small groups of around 30 students, offering optimal learning conditions and direct contact with the professors. And the security of a regular salary will give you even more room to spread your wings.

With the internationally recognized bachelor's degree, you will broaden your horizons and at the same time open the door for a successful career in our company.

When does a dual study programme start? Close

The dual study programme starts every year in October.

How long does a dual study programme last? Close

The Bachelor's degree at Mercedes-Benz lasts 3 years.

What stages do you go through during the dual study programme? Close

Practice: In 6 semesters, you combine three months of theory with three months of practice. In this way, you will get to know different areas of the company at the same time.

Theory: The campus-model usually takes place at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.

Does Mercedes-Benz offer rooms / flats for shared flats? Close

Some locations offer it - but not all.

How are working hours and vacation days regulated during training?* Close

You have a 35-hour week and 30 days of vacation with us. Depending on the degree programme, there is also the possibility to work hybrid by arrangement. Mercedes-Benz Mobility has a 40-hour week, Global Logistic Cetner has a 39-hour week.

Is it possible to complete part of the dual study programme abroad? Close

With us, you have the opportunity to gain intercultural experience through a practical assignment abroad and, optionally, a semester of theory abroad.

How is the dual study programme remunerated?* Close

We offer you an attractive salary starting at €1,476 in the first year, €1,628.50 in the second year and up to €1,931.50 in the third year of study.
