After studying mathematics, physics and law at Berlin and Göttingen, Edzard Reuter is employed as an assistant to the chair of Public Law at the Free University of Berlin in 1953.
Edzard Reuter
Following various executive posts at Universum Film AG and the Bertelsmann Group, he comes to Daimler-Benz AG in 1964. Appointed deputy member of the Board of Management in 1973, Reuter becomes a full member in 1976. From 1987, he is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management; in September of the same year, until May 1995, he is Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler-Benz AG.
