Production.

The Mercedes-Benz AG is globally recognised as one of the largest manufacturers of high-end passenger cars and premium vans. In 2024, approximately 2.4 million passenger cars and vans were sold. The worldwide production network encompasses around 30 production sites across four continents. The company crafts the perfect Mercedes for every customer desire. To achieve this, the company has established its production with drive flexibility, enabling electric vehicles, hybrids, and modern internal combustion-engine powertrains to be manufactured on a single line. Furthermore, since 2022, the company has achieved CO₂-neutral production in all its own plants worldwide on a balance-sheet basis, and sources electricity exclusively from renewable sources. Thanks to comprehensive digitalisation with the Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations (MO360) production ecosystem and the consistent application of innovative technologies, the plants within the global Mercedes-Benz production network operate flexibly and with high efficiency.
