“I am very grateful to be part of an international group of trainees who are ambitious and talented yet – most importantly – kind and supportive."

I have a background in communication and political science, international management, and supply chain operations, so my career path was anything but streamlined. I thrive in conditions where I can keep learning and challenging myself and others.

I studied and worked in Germany, Canada, Australia, Singapore and the Netherlands; always with a focus on the automotive industry, digitization and innovation. After my double degree in International Management and PhD in Technology and Operations Management, I knew I wanted to put theory into practice and contribute to proactively driving the change within the automotive industry.

Inspire allowed me to explore and drive strategically important and exciting topics. To give you an example: in my second project, we aimed to augment sales planning with an automated and scenario-based sales demand forecast. Learning from each project and colleague and taking these learnings into the next project facilitated intra-organizational learning. On top of that, I am also very grateful to be part of an international group of trainees who are ambitious and talented, yet – most importantly – kind and supportive.

After completing the programme, I am very happy to have found my target area in Mercedes-Benz Vans Marketing and Sales. I am looking forward to design my future journey at Mercedes-Benz.

"The Inspire programme is a great journey that effectively equips participants to tackle future challenges."

It gives me the opportunity and privilege to work on different projects learning from very talented people in such a short time. I work on both, day-to-day operations and innovative projects; contributing to the realization of our High Power Charging network, working with the Data Experience Center in Malaysia and currently helping on the rollout of the Retail of the Future project in Mexico. There is no routine here; it is all about delivering results and having fun while doing it.

“In today's world, and especially in the business environment, lifelong learning is essential!”

My mentor supported me a lot in my programme planning. In one of my projects, I was responsible to develop a corporate approach to social impact. For me, the best thing about this project was the insight into different areas, and the possibility of networking.

Despite my previous experience in consulting, in which the learning curves are known to be very steep, I was able to learn even more during my project roles.

In today's world, and especially in the business environment, lifelong learning is essential - this was one of my central arguments why I chose the Inspire programme. Due to the different stations in departments, I had the opportunity to develop myself personally, thanks to coaching sessions and also professionally.
