Mercedes-Benz not only builds desirable cars but is also a coveted employer. We invest significantly to be able to create a modern and motivating work environment for our team – for the employees of today and tomorrow.
Mercedes-Benz offers employees different worktime models that are tailored to the personal "life balance". These include part time, job sharing, sabbatical and much more. Time off is just as possible as part-time studies.
The standard work model at Mercedes-Benz is hybrid work, if it is compatible with the respective task. We strive for a good balance between mobile work and a presence at the workplace that allows us to achieve the best results.
Employees at Mercedes-Benz and participating subsidiaries in Germany can work up to 20 days a year from different countries in Europe for private reasons, if the work assignment allows.
Lifelong learning is not just a buzzword for us at Mercedes-Benz. A workforce that actively shapes the transformation, continuously expands its skills and brings innovative ideas and commitment to daily work is a crucial success factor for our company. Therefore, the qualification of our employees is at the heart of our sustainable personnel development. This applies to both professional and personal development.
For optimal care, Mercedes-Benz employees have access to around 300 internal health experts. The holistic health management at Mercedes-Benz implements numerous health programmes and preventive measures annually. These include free occupational medical care, consultations on a healthy lifestyle, individual exercise options and ergonomic workplace design.
We help our team members who are expecting children to prepare for maternity and parental leave. Mercedes-Benz also enables parents to flexibly structure their working hours after starting a family. In addition, after statutory parental leave, Mercedes-Benz offers family time of up to 10 years. Targeted measures such as project assignments, representatives and further training are offered to facilitate the return to work. At many German locations, there is company daycare available. Mercedes-Benz also provides support in finding daycare in Germany and assistance with home nursing care, both for children and elderly persons.
Our employees can rely on this: Worldwide, we compensate work at Mercedes-Benz according to the same principles. The amount of the remuneration is based on the level, tasks and performance, among other things. If collective agreements apply, collective regulations define the company salary level.
As the inventor of the automobile, we provide our employees with tailored offers and exclusive conditions for access to our diverse product range.
