Mercedes-Benz Plant Buenos Aires.

The Mercedes-Benz plant in Buenos Aires, Mercedes-Benz Argentina, was founded in 1951. Since then, various models of cars, vans, buses and trucks have been produced here.

The start of production of the Sprinter van began 1996. Since 2019 the current Sprinter has been produced here. 2001 began the export of right hand drive vehicles to Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. The start of CKD (Completely Knocked Down) for the NAFTA market was 2016. The plant is the oldest in Group outside Germany and it had it’s 70th anniversary in 2021.
