Professional practitioner for metal technology
You will work with our great vehicles and the belonging power units, install single components, operate machines and become part of the production team in one of our automobile plants.
Is petrol running in your blood? Then it is time to start your professional career – with a vocational education as a specialist in metal technology. Within two years, you will learn how to assemble a motor, gear, shaft or a complete vehicle – and you can apply the knowledge directly in one of our production lines.
Additionally, you will learn to read and apply technical documents, as well as to develop and install individual components and assemblies on basis of production plans. You will become an expert in taking care and maintaining working devices, machinery and facilities. Part of the vocational education are also technical foundations such as filing, sawing, drilling and manufacturing screw threads, as well as differentiating between raw material and auxiliary material.

In order to apply, you must have a degree from a Hauptschule (‘general school’) or Förderschule (‘special school’), or perhaps you participated in a one-year vocational preparation course. We are looking for candidates with manual dexterity and interest in all kind of topics related to vehicles and technology. Technical vocational training procedure
You learn all important basics in the training workshop for your training profession and in projects and come into contact with state-of-the-art technology from the very beginning. After basic training, you will strengthen the content you have learned in operations, such as in our production, the service areas and in different projects - the ideal combination of theory and practice.
After half of the training period, you will submit your interim exam/final exam part 1. At the end of your training, the final exam/final exam follows part 2 - and you are an expert of your subject.
