Construction mechanic
Bring our cars into shape. Manufacture components from a variety of materials and fit these together to form assemblies or entire body segments. Shape thin sheet metal and use welding and joining technology.
On this traineeship (max. three and a half years) you gain detailed knowledge of metalworking as well as joining and metal forming techniques, learn to produce custom-fit body components from a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum and plastic, and to join them using techniques such as welding, soldering or adhesive bonding. The production of auxiliary structures, jigs and fixtures and templates forms part of your training, as do the control and maintenance of modern machinery, equipment and IT systems involved in the production process. You are also trained to select and implement testing procedures and test equipment.

Technical vocational training procedure
You learn all important basics in the training workshop for your training profession and in projects and come into contact with state-of-the-art technology from the very beginning. After basic training, you will strengthen the content you have learned in operations, such as in our production, the service areas and in different projects - the ideal combination of theory and practice.
After half of the training period, you will submit your interim exam/final exam part 1. At the end of your training, the final exam/final exam follows part 2 - and you are an expert of your subject.
